A Healthier Dessert
Healthier dessert idea that will satisfy your sweet tooth cravings, keep you full, and make you feel good about your quality of food choices (that is, if you care).
If you’re like me, you love having dessert at the end of the night, EVERY NIGHT! AMIRITE!?!
Instead of going for those m&m’s you have hidden in the pantry or like me, in the fridge, try having this dessert instead.
I know, “oatmeal is not dessert Cassie”, I hear this A LOT!
I’m NOT saying it’s a REESES or a CHOCOLATE CAKE, I’m saying that it’s satisfying for your sweet tooth, tastes amazing, and healthier for you, making you feel GOOD!
Not all of us can eat chocolate cake every night and not have consequences if you know what I mean.
So instead, try this idea
If you like it, cool! If you hate it, that’s cool too
I actually eat this oatmeal bowl at least 5 nights a week. Don’t knock it til’ you try it, that’s what they say right?
The ingredients I use are:
1 better oats packet, 100 calories
30g of frozen blueberries or raspberries (frozen makes a difference)
20g creamy all natural peanut butter
1 serving of fat free reddi whip (this makes me think of pie, you can’t go without the reddi whip)
STEP 1: Cook the oats
STEP 2: Stir in the berries
STEP 3: Top with peanut butter and reddi whip
I don’t stir in the peanut butter, I just leave it on top! It’s better this way.
Sometimes I will throw in a sprinkle of dark chocolate chips too!
LITERALLY THE BEST DESSERT TO HAVE EVERY NIGHT AND STAY ON TRACK WITH YOUR NUTRITION GOALS!
